Thank you for your inquiry. Affiliates are essentially product advertisers or marketers. They earn commissions by promoting ClickBank products. Commissions are tracked through ClickBank’s HopLink system.

To automatically create a HopLink that will track accurately, please visit the ClickBank Marketplace.

You can browse for products to promote by selecting a category or by searching keywords in the Find Products search field.

Once you find the website you would like to promote, click on the "Promote" button on the right-hand side of the listing.

Enter your Nickname into the HopLink creation form, and click the "Create" button. (The Tracking ID is optional, and not necessary for your HopLink to function.)

The first link in black is the HopLink you will use in your advertisements promoting the product. The second link in blue is in HTML format for affiliates who have their own website. If you don't have a website, you can promote the first HopLink.

When you use the Promote box, the first link will be correct and will not require any changes. You will need to copy and paste this link into any advertisements you create. The first link will look something like this:

The second link looks like this:

<a href="http://YOURENCRYPTEDTEXT.hop.clickbank.net"target=_top>CLICK HERE</a>

You do not need to use this second link for anything unless you have a website that you own and have created yourself. If you have a website of your own, this is the link you will enter in your source code to create a hyperlink to the vendor you're promoting. Once it is saved in your website's code, you should see a hyperlink created when you view your page.

It is not necessary to have a website in order to be a ClickBank affiliate, though you may use one if you wish. If you do not have your own web page, you will never need to use this second link at all.

Please keep in mind that ClickBank does not keep a list of the HopLinks you create anywhere in your account. If you would like to keep a list personally, you are welcome to, but there is no place to save such a list in your ClickBank account.
